The labs run inside a web-based terminal accessible directly through your browser. All tools, scripts, and environments are pre-configured, no installation or prior knowledge required. Starting a Lab: • Click the Start button on your course dashboard. • Wait for the lab environment to load. Only one lab per course can be loaded at a time for each user. The Extend option allows you to add more time to your current lab session, provided the course permits it and you meet the eligibility criteria. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/df5988_bbc3e98aa0f340358c0b58cf4622fc2f~mv2.png You can typically use Extend when your remaining lab time drops below approximately 90 minutes. If you still have a significant amount of time left, the option may be temporarily disabled until you are closer to the end of your session. Each successful extension adds up to around two additional hours, subject to course-specific limits and a maximum total duration allowed per lab session. This ensures that lab time cannot be extended indefinitely. There are also usage controls in place: • You must wait about 15 minutes between extensions • You can only extend a limited number of times per lab session (this may be indicated on the page) If the Extend action fails, it is usually due to one of the following reasons: • The lab is still starting • There is no active lab session • You are not yet eligible (too much time remaining) • You have reached the maximum number of extensions or total allowed time • A temporary network or system issue In all cases, refer to the on-screen message for the exact reason.

Your lab session may be stopped automatically if you are inactive for a period of time. For fairness and optimal resource usage, if no activity is detected (for example, if you close the tab or leave the course page), the lab may stop, typically around 15 minutes after the last confirmed activity, with a short processing delay. If you return quickly and your lab is still active, you can continue from where you left off. However, if the lab has already stopped or your session has expired, you will need to start the lab again. A lab session ends based on whichever occurs first: • Your allocated lab time runs out • The system stops the lab due to inactivity • You manually reset or start a new lab
