About
In this module of the Kubernetes Security learning path, the capstone, you turn findings from the assessment and offensive modules into hardening and reporting: a defended, monitored, and documented cluster. Finding problems is only half the job; a security engineer must close them and prove it. You implement the defensive controls that scale (admission policy, runtime monitoring, and service-mesh security), then frame them within a cluster threat model and risk-management process. The module ends where every real engagement ends: prioritizing vulnerabilities with CVSS and writing a report a client can act on. Upon completion of the module, students will be able to: • Enforce cluster-wide policy that rejects privileged, non-compliant, and unsigned workloads at admission. • Deploy runtime detection and default-deny NetworkPolicies and segment traffic with a service mesh. • Produce a hardening baseline mapped to the cluster threat model, with secrets encrypted and audit logging on. • Score findings with CVSS and deliver a professional Kubernetes penetration-testing report.
